Some MVPs

Recently, a bunch of nostalgic MVPs have signed a petition to Microsoft, asking them to keep supporting Visual Basic 6, discontinued since VB .NET.

That's their petition.

And the responses are some, and quite upset some of them. And with no lack of reason: the petition I've linked seems like some people are unable (or unwilling) to grow...

Not so long I've talked about D4Modelizer, the automatic class generator from databases. With the same functionality, but with much more possibilities (templates, compatibility with NHibernate and Microsoft's Data Access Application Block, among others) it's MyGeneration. It's much more complicated to use, but the results given are lights years away, literally. D4Modelizer is good enough for small projects (exactly the use I've given it), but MyGeneration is by far a more serious tool.
